vampires

so katie is teaching carsen how to draw blood. anne said she was game to play guniea pig, so off we went. carsen watched intensely. then she practiced on an orange.
and on me.
SUCCESS!
so then katie started teaching carsen about IVs. anne has "good veins" on her hands. see how good they are? full of blood!
i mean, technically this was a success too! katie definately got the vein. the only problem is the needle had no stop and no bag on it, so where else would the blood go? everywhere, apparently.

Thanks for making me sick to my stomach!!!!!

I'm glad Carsen is learning and all but I have to say I would NOT be a good guine pig. Sorry!

True friendship is when a friend will give blood!
LOL

Love you guys!

Ok, so, drawing blood... never really seemed that difficult to me. Stopping it, now there's a trick. You learn how to stop the bleeding, and I'll say those summer school classes are paying off. Of course, you do get bonus points for drawing it neatly.

don't worry, y'all. we surely locked the door and said no one could come in while we did this. no children were harmed or even aware that this happened!!

Ok...I really didn't try to kill Anne. It sort of just kept coming! They told me to practice! Thank you Anne and Angela for letting us stick needles in you and thank you Carsen for being an excellent hands on student! I seriously love Haiti, and you girls definatly have something to do with that!
